Scholastic's The Magic School Bus Area

Based on Scholastic’s popular "The Magic School Bus" book series and animated television shows, the New York Hall of Science showcases Make-It & Take-It activities and interactive displays related to segments of the animated series.

Create one of the following Make-it & Take-it Activities:

• Fluttering Butterfly
• Kaleidoscope
• Magic Box
• Buzzing Bee
• Climbing Spider 

General public hours:
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 11 am - 5 pm
Fee: $2 - $2.50, $1 - $1.50 members 

Groups can book a session to create one of the following Make-It & Take-It activity projects: Climbing Spider, Fluttering Butterfly, Kaleidoscope, Magic Box or Buzzing Bee.

Weekends, June 23 – September 14
Perfectly Plants
1:30 & 3:30
Explore the wonder of plants as you inspect leaves up close and decorate your own pot to take home.

Weekends September 15 – November 18
Creative Clocks
1:30 & 3:30 pm
Explore the secrets of time! Design and crate a magnificent clock to take home.
