Explainers are paid positions for current college students to:

• Interpret exhibits
• Perform demonstrations
• Orient visitors
• Assist with science workshops and special events

Please note: This is a year-round position, requiring 7–20 hours per week (weekends and evenings as needed). Starting salary is $8 per hour with room for promotions and raises.
