Far Out Bubbles Will Blow You Away at the New York Hall of Science
2-28-07

Queens, N.Y. – The high-energy artistry and spectacular science of BubbleMania: Science, Art & Comedy! with Casey Carle will blow you away at 1, 2 and 3 pm on March 31 – April 8 at the New York Hall of Science. Part of the Hall’s annual Far Out Science event, BubbleMania!’s
6-foot floating spheres, cube bubbles, and a bubble Spacecraft that actually spins, guarantees that jaws will drop, laughter will explode and brains will be whirling.

BubbleMania! is for the entire family, and is loaded with visual comedy, quick wit, great swing music and the untamed, often unbelievable qualities of spherical liquids. An internationally-known comic bubble-ologist, Casey Carle’s creations grow from intricate and imaginative bubble art forms to bubble traps enclosing an audience volunteer. BubbleMania! will take place in the Auditorium and tickets may purchased at Admissions on the day of the show for $2 each ($1 for Hall Members).

Carle has been chosen by Cirque du Soleil to act as their consultant on soap bubble-based routines and scenes for their artistic teams. His outstanding scientific and entertainment achievements have been recognized by science and children’s museums coast to coast.

This year’s Far Out Science highlights bubbles. In addition to BubbleMania!, visitors can go on a scavenger hunt for bubble-related exhibits located throughout the Hall. From soap bubbles to air bubbles to bubbles within the human body, Hall visitors will learn about the science of bubbles.
