The Hall's New Motion Simulator Ride Has Landed
5-22-07
Queens, N.Y. - The New York Hall of Science's new Exploration Station twists, turns and surrounds you with sight and sound. Take unforgetable journeys and experience three incredible adventures:
The Exploration Station combines a movie-like audiovisual show using a high-definition, rear projection screen and Bose surround sound with motion of the ride compartments. It makes horizontal pitches, longitudinal rolls and vertical lifts.
The fully enclosed capsule holds seven passengers and moves in six directions. Each ride is approximately five minutes. The Exploration Station is located in the Lower Central Pavilion.
Ticket Information
Tickets may be purchased at the front lobby or at the simulator. PLEASE NOTE: Ride is open to adults and children ages 4 and older.
