Eric Siegel
Director & Chief Content Officer
Eric Siegel is the Director & Chief Content Officer at the New York Hall of Science, in which capacity he is responsible for the Hall’s exhibition, education, and technology programs. He led the strategic planning and institutional fundraising for a $92 million expansion that opened in November 2004. As part of that expansion, he directed several exhibitions and programs, including the NSF-funded Connections project. He is currently creating the strategic plan for the coming five years and developing new programmatic initiatives.
Eric has been in leadership roles in New York City museums for 25 years. He has had direct responsibility for planning, administration, programs, and fundraising in environmental science and hands-on science centers including the New York Botanical Garden, Wave Hill, and the New York Hall of Science. He is currently Vice President of the National Association for Museum Exhibition, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Museum Studies Program at New York University.
