Terry Billie
Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement
Working with a staff of three, Terry Billie is responsible for raising more than $5 million in restricted funds from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies annually. Working closely with the Hall’s education, public programs, exhibition, and science staff since 2000, Terry has been the principal writer for numerous successful six- and seven-figure grants. Terry has worked in the field of development for over 18 years, at institutions such as the Katonah Museum of Art, The South Street Seaport Museum, various performing arts centers, Wave Hill, and the New York Hall of Science. She has presented at Association of Science and Technology and American Association of Museum Conferences, the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and has been published in the Foundation Center’s Guide to Winning Proposals. Terry holds a bachelors degree from the University of Hartford, and a certificate from the Arts Leadership Institute at Columbia Teachers College.
