BubbleMania: Science, Art & Comedy!

World-renowned bubble-ologist Casey Carle creates amazing bubble creations in this crowd-pleasing show. Carle’s performance combines comedy and education in a unique exploration of the science of soap bubbles.

RoboCupJunior 2010

April 11, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Inspire your future engineers at this full day of robot mania, courtesy of the RoboCup international initiative, which educates students in technology through robotics challenges. Watch the pros create androids that dance and play soccer. Ages 6 and older.
 

NanoDays

Come and explore science at the nano scale through a variety of hands on experiences that demonstrate how small nano is and how nanotechnology can be applied to things we use in our every day life.

Bubble Poetry Workshop

Friday, April 2, 3 and 4 pm
April is Poetry Month! Celebrate poetry month and bubbles by coming to our workshop. Join Michael Romanos, poet and educator from NYC's Poets House, as we hear and write fun poems about science and bubbles in the Library. Recommended for ages 6 – 10.
