The NYSCI Preschool Place is the ideal space to explore and discover the natural and built world of a city. Here our youngest visitors can experience multi-sensory activities in a safe, protected area.

The Preschool Place is open during regular visitor hours and closes 15 minutes prior to the NYSCI closing time. Please note that the hours for the Preschool Place Studio are subject to change on a daily basis. Call 718-699-0005 ext. 357 for daily schedule. Special science/art activities and puppet shows are featured during weekends and holidays.

Felix the catfish and Pinky piranha are out playing a dangerous game of hide and go seek in their home, the Amazon River.  Help them hide from the fisherman who is trying to catch them!
