Museum Accessibility The New York Hall of Science welcomes all visitors and strives to accommodate visitors of all abilities.
Entrance/Galleries The Museum is wheelchair accessible. The entrance has no exterior or interior steps. All exhibition galleries, the auditorium, restrooms, the Cafe and Science Shop are wheelchair accessible.
Exhibits All of the Hall's exhibits are hands-on and incorporate visual, tactile and auditory components.
Audio Tours Pre-recorded voice messages that explain selected exhibits in detail are available at no charge for vision impaired or dyslexic visitors. In addition, exhibit information may be obtained in Braille format. Programs The Hall provides fun, educational learning experiences for visitors of all ages. Experienced educators work with both children and adults. Restrooms Accessible restrooms are located on the street level. Restrooms are equipped with diaper changing stations.
Wheelchairs Wheelchairs are available for use, free of charge.
Service Animals Appropriately documented guide dogs and animals for assisted therapy are welcome at the Hall.
First Aid Visitor Services or Security staff are available to assist with First Aid. Expansion The Capital Expansion architectural plan considers accessibility in all aspects of its design.
