Super Science Birthday Packages
Music & Sound Ages 3 – 5
Wear a whistle necklace, jam with a variety of musical instruments and decorate a musical instrument to take home.
Please note: Music & Sound is only available during the 11 am - 1 pm and noon - 2 pm time slots.
Fluttering Butterflies Ages 3 – 5
Put on butterfly wings, go on a butterfly adventure and learn all about butterflies. Then make a butterfly to take home.

Magic & Science Ages 6 and older
Wear a magic hat and watch amazing science tricks and discover their secrets. Make a Magic box to take home.
Extreme Science Ages 6 and older
Wear your “gold medal” to explore physics in The Sports Challenge exhibition or the outdoor Science Playground (weather permitting). Personalize a bouncing baseball to take home.
Out Of This World Ages 6 and older
Wear an “alien antennae” headband and discover how astronauts are trained to live in outer space. Decorate a “flying saucer” to take home.
Cool Chemist Ages 8 and older
Become a junior chemist as you conduct hands-on experiments in the Pfizer Foundation Biochemistry Discovery Lab (keep your gloves and magnifying glass for future experiments). See the amazing properties of liquid nitrogen in a chemistry demonstration.
Gross Out Science Ages 8 & older
Wear your crazy eyeglasses and explore the gross side of Science while watching a real cow’s eye dissection! Then, put your skills to the test by creating science slime to take home. This party is extra messy!
Super Science Birthday Parties are available on weekends from
11 am - 1 pm, noon - 2 pm, 2 - 4 pm, 3 - 5 pm, 4 - 6 pm
Please note: Music & Sound and Fluttering Butterflies parties available exclusively 11 am - 1 pm and noon - 2 pm.
Each 2-hour party consists of 1 1/2 hours of activities (exhibit tour, demonstration and take-home activity) plus 1/2 hour in the private party room.
Each Super Science Birthday Party includes:
 Museum admission for up to 12 children and 12 adults (includes birthday child)
15 party invitations and envelopes
Free Parking (with invitation)
Party Host/Hostess to facilitate itinerary and set-up
Explainer to facilitate guided tours and activities
Private party room setup for the children with tablecloths and one setup each (plate, cup, napkin and utensils)
One science novelty bag with three age-appropriate science toys per child
All parties are self-serve
Catered food package
Choose between 24 individual cheese pizza pies or 24 baskets of chicken fingers. Also included: 24 orders of Kool-Aid Jammers, bottled water or apple juice; a personalized 10” bakery cake with candles; and additional paper goods and utensils. Please note that the fee for additional guests does not cover extra food. The Hall’s Caterer also provides adult food such as fruit platters, crudite baskets and cheese platters for additional cost. Please ask the birthday party representative for the additional catering menu when booking the party. Only food provided by the Hall will be permitted.
Fee: $500 for non-members. $480 for members
($520 for Kosher pizza and cake)
Additional Fees:
$20 for each additional child
$10 for each additional adult
$30 for coffee & tea set-up
$1 per additional invitation and envelope
$25 fee to change food orders, party packages or plans less than 7 days in advance
$75 fee to move your scheduled event date and/or time
$150 fee for parties with a total of 55 guests or more
Please note: The Hall recommends less than 48 total guests for the ideal birthday party experience.
A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Final payment is due on the day of your party. Payments can only be made with cash or credit cards. We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express.
